Vicki,

Love your cushions & bench seat pad, perfect choice of colours. Can I ask are they appliqued onto Calico?

I used bleached muslin for the background. You can get it pretty cheap at Joanne' on sale.
But ti was the navy blue that I found in a quilt shop up the mountains that really made it pop. I still have 2 1/2 yds of coordinating pieces to use as sashing in the big quilt that I will make one of these days. I am going to get some more of the navy blue next weekend when we go up there if the lady has any left andd incorporate it into the big one as well. Maybe have 3 borders, with the dark blue being the middle one. It felt good to finally make something for myself :!: :D Most of everything else I have done has been given away.

Very inviting Vicki. I just love to sit on the front porch swing and a cushion like that would be much more comfy!!! That is a great idea and you carried it out beautifully!

Thanks sandpat. I did out of necessity. No1: I needed something! More padding in the front of me than my backside and it was hard to enjoy the wing! No 2 I couldn't find anything that would fit a 60" swing. Most swing cushions measured only 50" and th lawn chair cushions had the breaks in them for bending like for a straight chair.

Nice job Vicki! I didn't notice any clutter either - my attention was totally on your cushion & pillows...but if you want me to go back & LOOK for the clutter.....
