I made this block to use on a postcard. Is it as bad as I think it is? I can't quite pinpoint why I don't like it, it just seems funny looking.

I think it looks fine and when the edges are finished, it will look much better! The colors are great!

That's it! It needs some kind of binding to finish the raw edges! It's really pretty!

Postcards are just meant for fun not for stressing out on. Your colors are gorgeous. Send it to someone, they will love it and that you did something so special for them

It's not bad, but you've got 2 different angles going on between the diamond shape and the 90 degree print on the WOW fabric. You notice it, but not in a negative way. It adds movement.

Love it! How do you mount it for a postcard? Or does it go into an envelope? I have never seen this done.

Me too, there's nothing wrong with it.

Why is it that we start a nice project and when we're all done, we are not happy with our results......?

After all the hard work we put into our projects and then to criticize our own work is not a positive feeling.

Freddy Moran states, "never point out your mistakes"... so; and if you notice a mistake, pretend that it is not there.

Hi -- this is really cute. I think the problem you are seeing is that the strips on the bottom of the diamond, on the left the outside and center, and on the right the middle, are too short. Not a criticism, just an observation. Sometimes I get too close and familiar with something I am doing, and can't see what the problem is... The colors are fantastic, and I love what you have done. Good luck!

I like it. Almost looks 3 dimensional.
