I have made many log cabins in my life, but when I went to Carol Doaks website I saw that you can PP them. I made two of the children's quilts for Christmas with pp log cabins, and I loved it. I found my blocks were always perfect, and I didn't waste as much fabric as with other PP projects. I had a lot of those pillow panels in my stash (from Quillows) that needed to get used up and this was a great way to do it. 2 pp log cabins per panel piece on each side. Anyway, I recommend this for anyone who has too many pocket panels hanging around.

You know, when I get my two queen quilts done for Son/DIL marriage, and the church one, I think I will do some more of these for the Quilt for kids Teen quilts. They are so simple and easy to do although for a single it takes about 40 some squares.

Those are really nice. Never thought of doing Log Cabin blocks in that way.
