That is so great!!! My very first quilt that I did was for my daughter and it was a boot quilt. I had no pattern and absolutely no idea what I was doing....so I appliqued all the boots, the tops were representative of the months (there were 12 boots, Feb-hearts, March-shamrocks, etc.) I satin stitched each one (didn't know to use stabilizer) Didn't know how to quilt so I tied the sandwich, the binding is awful.....but my daughter loves it. Yours is exactly what I wanted. Now that I am a slightly more knowledgable quilter, your quilt has inspired me to try again! Thanks for sharing!
