mame13 -- your avatar quilt is beautiful! Is that based on a double wedding ring design? or maybe Cathedral Windows design? Wow!

"Both" of those quilts are very beautiful! Looking forward to seeing your quilting on them. Thanks for taking the trouble to post all that for us to enjoy.
Reversible is such a good way to go because:
it only needs one batting, takes up less room in storage than two quilts would, only has to quilted once, and if it's scrappy, it uses up twice as many scraps!
I'm doing a reversible one (or maybe should call it a 'set'?) now, trying to use up a ton of scraps. Just doing stitch-in-the-ditch cuz it works with both sides since it's a QAYG so both sides are comprised of the same size blocks with very different designs on each side.

sewdarnbusy 10-15-2011 05:25 PM

Wow... impressive. Please share, how did you line up the the centers, front and back? I know it's not easy.

paulettepoe 10-15-2011 06:18 PM

I would have never thought to do that....now I will do one.or would that be 2?

Thanks for answering my question. I wondered if you had planned each side so they would both be compatible with the quilting designs. We would like to see a closer picture of the quilting if you can find the time. Thanks!

seasaw2mch 10-15-2011 07:22 PM

Wow that is so pretty!!! You did a great job and a reversible one at that.

Grandma Peg 10-15-2011 08:02 PM
