This quilt is a Glad Creations pattern called Faceted Jewels. I named this quilt "Assorted Gems" in honor of my uncle who passed away a few years ago from cancer. We used to sit around the campfire eating these store bought cookies called Assorted Gems. It was a game and joke to see which one you'd pull out of the bag.

Trust me....NO judge will laugh at this quilt!! And the spectators will be inspired to go home and make a quilt with this pattern!! Think positive!!

Rachel, What a beautiful quilt and the story to match. I'm sure your dear Uncles spriit will guide the judges to your quilt anf place a blue ribbon on your beautully quilted masterpiece. :thumbup:
