Excellent-I love pink ! Nice job.

I would encourage you to take a class-it'll save you some frustration, teach you a lot of new techniques and you'll meet more quilters!

Great job, and flannel was a great choice for the back. I liked your choice of stich, it looks very neat on the back.

Thanks for sharing the pics!

Love your arrangement and attention to detail (striped fabric). The backing fabric is perfect.

mollymct 08-04-2010 06:08 PM

What a cute little quilt!! Adorable fabrics.

nwm50 08-04-2010 06:17 PM

Loved the way you had put your pinks together...the pattern is cute too!

franie 08-04-2010 06:20 PM

Adorable baby girl quilt. You did a good job!

annieshane 08-04-2010 06:24 PM

Such a sweet quilt! The construction is very good, should last that little girl through many, many washings. One of advantages of basic quilting is the little tricks to the details that will save you so much time. Bet you will fly through the classes. Please post future quilts so we can all enjoy.

littlehud 08-04-2010 07:27 PM

That is so cute. And I love the backing. It's reversible. So pretty. You did a great job and thanks for sharing.

NICE! I think the simple SID quilting is perfect for a baby. You needed nothing more. Be brave and try triangles - for for it in a small project first.

MoMoSews 08-05-2010 06:19 AM

Darling!

dphelps 08-05-2010 08:41 AM

Sooo CUTE! Hey, that's my birthday. You did a great job.

hereca622 08-05-2010 08:45 AM

So Cute! Now, all it needs is a baby girl on top.

mimistutz 08-05-2010 08:46 AM

I REALLY like this. I don't think I've seen one with the fancy stiching around the seams like that, but I like the looks of it. Your doing great, especially for not taking classes. I took some classes, but now am afraid to just do one on my own, but am getting close. Actually I should make my new (last week) great nephew one. I think you've given me the boost to get it started.
Thanks!

Very cute I love pink

Fabricnut 08-05-2010 01:04 PM

I'm glad to see that someone else is doing easier quilts too. I'm learning but think it will take years to do something really special. I'm making a baby boy quilt now and it is only the second one I've tried. I too need lots of lessons. Just love the pinks and the prints in yours.

Rusty's Mama 08-05-2010 02:45 PM

Very nice - you can be proud of your first quilt!

kwiltkrazy 08-05-2010 03:39 PM

Great job, I like the interest the zigzagging lends to the quilting. Very creative, you are already starting to think outside the box.

maggiemuggins 08-05-2010 04:12 PM
