Our mountain town had it's 4th annual "Quilts in the Aspens" quilt show yesterday. I took lots of pictures as I know we all like to check out other quilts from around the country/world. My "Happy Trails" quilt was one of the entries. Those of us who won ribbons at our county fair in August were asked to show the ribbon with the entry. There was only one ribbon awarded at this show, "Viewer's Choice". I have not heard which quilt gets the honors yet. [ATTACH=CONFIG]89664[/ATTACH] Next year some of our guild members will be featured in a 'pin up' calendar!! [ATTACH=CONFIG]89666[/ATTACH] paper pieced place mats for each month of the year [ATTACH=CONFIG]89667[/ATTACH] This is my quilt for my hubby, "Happy Trails". He designed the boot block. [ATTACH=CONFIG]89736[/ATTACH] This is the quilt that edged me out from Reserve Grand Champion. It is a very beautiful quilt. What a talent she has for color!
