looks a bit like a project I had my Art students doing.....do you use more than one piece of the same fabric?? Cut it up and sew same pieces side by side? please ley us know a bit how it is done

4 identical pieces..

"Dragon Lady Quilts" has the pattern.. Hope this helps !!

I'd love to try this but I'd definitely have to ban my cats from my sewing room when giving it a try. I will keep on the look-out for a fabric to try this with.
