I had a vision/idea for this project ... asked my Husband (a retired Mechanical Engineer) if he might be able to put together and produce it .... the following pictures will show the results of our efforts. My Quilter's Guild is putting together a Quilt Show, to be held the first weekend of April 2011 .... and we are putting in a booth at the show, to sell these. We call them "Spool'n Around" ..... and when we put one of the pincushions that I make (which you will also see in the pictures) .... we call them "Spool'n Around the Posey". We also make them, where they hold "19 spools of thread" only (no room for for the pincushion).

My Husband said, I should tell everyone ..... "The Spool'n Arounds spin around on 'ball bearings' .... it is just like a Lazy Susan, you would have on your table and such. They are all made of solid wood - cherry, alder, oak, walnut, etc. He has his shop set-up in our garage.
