Stunning!

QM 08-08-2011 10:31 PM

Good job! I think I would do it one of 2 ways:
1. No border, black binding.
2. Black flange, followed by another row of blocks

Whatever you do, this will be a greally lively and enjoyable quilt.

sewaholic 08-09-2011 02:04 AM

Beautiful effect.

I agree --- beautiful quilt!!

You did a FAB Job on yours as well!

It's stunning!!! No border needed...I speak from experience (see my avatar). Thank you Charisma - I know that you do love and put a piece of yourself in all your quilts - and you remember them!

ka9sdn 08-09-2011 04:25 AM

Turned out really nice. Isn't it fun to use up small pieces.

quiltbuddy 08-09-2011 04:42 AM

Very nice. I don't think it needs a border. It's complete all by itself, sort of looks old fashioned that way.

katydidit 08-09-2011 04:48 AM

Very nice. Gotta try this

SuzyQ 08-09-2011 04:51 AM

I made the same quilt in both a twin and a crib size. I bordered it in white. It didn't detract from the rest of the quilt. I love this quilt for scraps b/c it is so easy to do and every fabric works in it.

shirley35 08-09-2011 05:13 AM

Love the look of your scrap quilt.

Murphy1 08-09-2011 05:40 AM

I love it and would love to make one. What was the pattern tutorial?

Claddaughquilting 08-09-2011 05:42 AM

Love it! I recently got hooked on this block too and now have over 500 blocks to put together.....perhaps another UFO for me??? Great job!

rvsfan 08-09-2011 05:53 AM

It turned out to be fabulous.

Kristin in ME 08-09-2011 06:00 AM

BuzzinBumble 08-09-2011 06:04 AM

No 2 alike, yet they all look terrific together! Your quilt is the bee's knees! (Terrific!)

colwoods 08-09-2011 06:04 AM

Oh dear, now another one to add to my wish list! Love it, love it.
