So after the Sampler quilt and the Teacher quilt I made two Table runners for my sisters and forgot to snap photos of them before I mailed them away - so my sisters are going to send me photos for my Quilt scrapbook..
Then I really wanted to try a Rag quilt - as I said I have been saving my sons jeans from when he was a baby (he is 12 now) and so I thought I would give it a try to see if could figure out how. I made this one all out of flannel for my Niece and I Love the colours - but the pattern I had said to leave 1 inch seams and in retrospect that is really big and its very FLUFFY - but I learned to love the FIskars Rag quilt snips I found for snipping the seams!! |

The back is the same as I loved the colours - so I just repeated it on the back -you can see in this photo which shows the snipped seams and the back before the washing!

Great job! Love those Fiskars!
:D :D :D judee |
I love the wide seams. I bet it will get even fluffier the more it's washed. I've just got to get a pair of those Fiskars. I made a denim rag quilt and used regular scissors. What a job!!! By the way, the colors on the rag quilt are gorgeous. My granddaughter would love that quilt.
