I started this yesterday afternoon and just finished it at 12:50..........lol. It is for my mother-in-law who is in a nursing home. She is Japanese. I sure hope she likes it.

Thanks to everyone! I found the fabric at the local Fabric Hut here in Virginia Beach. It is from the Nobu Fujiyama collection.

I was in a hurry to get it made.......last minute thought when I saw the fabric (went shopping yesterday morning with no thought of doing a quilt that day) so I tied it in strategic places so as not to take away from the print. If you look closely though you'll see where I tied it in the center of the flowers and the Geisha's all have a little tie near the top of the kimono.

I agree - same with batiks, can't get enough of it once I did a few! I'm sure, though, that once I do a quilt in 30s fabrics, I'll be stuck to that style for a while! Beautiful quilt linda!
