tried the 10-minute block, as seen on here. I loved it. This is a queen size top for my son who likes car racing and Dale Ernheart #3. I have to complete the backing yet and then I hope to have professionally quilted by a friend, Sandy.

Isn"t this also called a "Bow Tie" block? My grandmother used to do this block all the time. Your quilt is pretty.

This is also called Folded Bow Tie. Very easy andrewarding to piece/ I saw one at a quilt show and talked to the maker. She invited me to a class. Next year at the next show I was helping her. Its a lot of fun to make. Marvel

One of the first Tutes I tried when joined I've got car stash and this might be a way to use up before race season gets here!!!

I saw this at the Madison Quilt Expo in fall and was amazed at how the blocks turn out. I have not tried it yet, but hope to soon. Great job on the quilt!
