Thanks for showing us how to do that - I love the quilt and had no idea how to get the navy 'framing'. You made it look easy to do, and I appreciate it! Very pretty quilt -- I want to make one, too, now!

I don't know what these snippers are call but I used them for raggy quilts. They worked great, but have to be very carefull you don't cut the front side of you block. Very pretty. I have to put that on my long list of want to makes. I hope I start getting younger or I will never be able to make everything on my list.

That is beautiful!!! Great idea to cut out the bulkiness. I have those same snips...not sure what they are called either.
