1st block of a wedding quilt gift

Danni one of my group at the local hall has decided she wants to make a quilt for one of best friend's as a wedding gift, the happy couple are mad on piggies so I chose, with her experience in mind, the Antique Tile block, from Quilters Cache, with a piggy in the middle LOL

BTW This is the pupil that before last September had never ever touched a sewing machine, well look at those points!

Each block will have oranges on a pure White n White background, with a different piggy in the middle. I will be doing the quilting for her as it will be about 4' x 5' and she doesn't feel experienced enough yet, but she will before much longer at the rate she is going.

That batik is beautiful, and so is the block. Do you know the name of the fabric in the batik? Love those colors.

Iit is one of the Northcott Stonehenge range that I bought from here, http://www.stonehengefabrics.com/ Because I buy so much of my fabrics on-line I am not inclined to buy Batiks as the quality can change so much so the lovely Northcott fabrics are an excellent substitute at terrific quality., IMO

It's not a Batik it's a fabric from the Stonehendge range which I adore, such a wonderful range and superb fabric quality http://www.stonehengefabrics.com/

She is just now finishing her 3rd Antique tile block quilt as her whole family loves them. BTW she had never even touched a sewing machine before the September before last!
