2.5" squares and strips

1 Attachment(s)
This is a perfect example of how my scrap quilt generates more scraps! The box of 2.5" squares gave me all the little blocks I needed but when I went into the box of 2.5" strips, finding a long enough piece to get the four 6.5" strips, I naturally still had another strip to put back in the box. And when I went into the uncut box of scrap, I still got more scrap after I cut the 4 pieces out of irregularly shaped pieces! I know my scraps will outlive me!

What a sweet quilt. Is it the MSQC keyhold pattern?

Great use of scraps and yes, using scraps always creates more scraps.

Oh thanks for sharing how scraps multiply. I am at a loss when I got mine all used up:D:D:D. Seriously...great use of scraps...we are all looking for neat creative ways to get them under control.

Good job with scraps. I saw this pattern on MSQ and it is on my list to make. I have lots of 2.5 squares to use.

Great scrappy project Judy. I can see this pattern as a great way to use up some 2 1/2 pieces.

AngeliaNR 04-20-2018 05:40 PM

Very pretty!

I don't want to use all my scraps--what would be the fun in that? :)

jlt37869 04-20-2018 06:54 PM
