I had a fantastic time in Houston and made many great friends working in the AAQI booth. I brought home 2 little quilts; Puppy Love by the woman who hosted AAQI in her home in Houston and 6 Feet Under by a woman in West Point, MS. I grew up in a funeral home and this quilt was MY quilt from the moment I saw it. So many times I saw quilts that had been passed by, but spoke to someone. AAQI surpassed it's $1 million for Alzheimers research but sadly there are still some little quilts that didn't find a home.
