2 Comfort quilts
2 Attachment(s)
I'm sad to report our local hospital has asked our guild if we can increase the number of comfort quiits we've been donating. Here are two just off my LA that will go to another to bind.
Sad these are destined for children. |
Very nice quilts for a very worthy cause. Bless you!
I am in favor of the first one. I have that pattern on my todo list but others are ahead of it...I'm proud of you and sew many that are quilting to donate.
Beautiful quilts for these kids! How wonderful of you to do this for them!
great quilts!!!
Very nice and good for you !
The fact that they are needed is sad....the fact that you are providing them will hopefully make some little one feel the love and comfort. A good deed indeed.
Great quilts. So nice of your guild to donate.
sad for the need, but you are filling the need well.
Sad they are needed but sweet that your guild is doing it. We are doing some for abused children. Poor little kids..so hard to believe what some people do to to them.
Really nice. I am partial to the d9p, but that is one of my favourite designs.
QB members are so generous. Bless you for the wonderful gifts you make for the children who will treasure them.
Very pretty quilt ! I think it will brightened a little ones day! Great of your guild to donate all of these much needed quilts.
Those will bring comfort...and I really like the print in the second one. A child will have so much fun looking at that and making up stories to go with it. Thanks for helping the wee ones.

I'm sorry there is such a need for these quilts, but it is a wonderful thing that your guild is doing. I used to belong to the Hannah Dustin Quilt Guild in Hudson, NH and our special project was David's House, a home where parents who had sick children at the Dartmouth-Hitchcock Hospital, could have a place to stay while their children were being treated there. The Guild was also asked for volunteers to make bed quilts for the different rooms in the house, an insect room, butterfly room, etc., etc. and many volunteers stepped forward to make those beds. I enjoyed making those quilts, but unfortunately I had to stop going for a variety of reasons and we have now moved to MA, and I haven't found a quilt guild here yet, but hope to some day.

They are beautiful. I am sure the recipients benefit in so many ways....quilts help to heal, along with the love that goes into them they are better than any medicine.
