Well the tops are done! This week I plan on quilting and binding them! Be honest - what do you think.
I'm planning on binding the sunflower one in a tan, the backing is also going to be a tan with leaves, and the other one will be backed with a darker brown and orange pieced back, and bound in a hunter green. |
I think that they are unique. I like the colors and uneven edges.

Thanks!

Yes, I like the unusual pattern. Would love to see it completed, as well!
p.s. That would make a neat bed or lap quilt pattern, too. |
I made one here: http://www.quiltingboard.com/tpr?p=1738581&t=64819
for moosegirl in a swap I think that I made up the pattern.. not sure, I just sketched something on paper and my husband said, that would look cool in a quilt. So I put it on template plastic and tried it out. |
Very nice love your colors the one you did for the swap shows the edge finished was the binding hard to do or did you do bias binding? A very striking pattern thanks for sharing!
|
The binding wasn't hard at all. It was a tiny bit fiddly, but once I got in the groove of doing it, it went pretty quick. I hand stitch the binding to the bottom though! I didn't use bias binding and it all went together with a minimum of effort.

These are cute, but I have to say I LOVE the Paisley.
