Yeah when i work on the machine I do use stabilizer but not with my hand work. I have been embroidering since I was very young too. I agree Bev i like the screw type better. I will try the spring type on something on the machine. Maybe these will go back in the yard sale. I got about 10 of them in a yard sale for 1$. It was worth the buck to see if I liked them. I don't.

I have just finished two more pieces. I will have to post them.
