These are gorgeous!! I have made a couple and I am having trouble with the inside circle being big enough to set a candle. Seems too tight. Have you had any trouble with this? Yours center looks much more open than mine.

You might be sewing them up too high which makes the circle tighter.

I like the 2nd one due to the smaller hole. But both are eye catching, great Job
