2 more soldier's quilts
6 Attachment(s)
Earlier this week, I posted pics of a red/white/blue jelly roll quilt that I made for wounded soldiers. Here are the other 2. The first is my favorite. It's done in a DP9 w/a large block. I loved the large block fabric and the smaller stripe went perfectly. The other is a DP9. Quilted w/YLI red/white/blue variegated thread on the top and C&C navy thread in the bobbin. Soft N Bright batting. Quilted w/the words "bravery, valor, honor, courage".
Thanks for looking, Dolly |
Thank you for your generosity, creativity and dedication to the our Wounded soldiers. Your are admirable. Each of your quilts are beautiful and inspiring. I'm sure each soldier that receives one feels the love and dedication you've devoted to this project. Thanks for sharing and inspiring.

Very nice quilts. I like the D9P made with three fabrics. Makes a nicer pattern than using more than three fabrics.

They look great!!
|
Very red, white and blue.
they will be loved |

Thank you for such a loving tribute and gift to our heroes -- from the proud mom of wonderful son who serves our country.

My youngest son is now serving in the Air Force. Son #2 (I have 5 sons) served in the army. Here are the active duty in my family at this time:
DS's son, daughter and son-in-law (in the Air Force). SIL's son (in the Army). That's not counting those that have served and are now retired or just out. Here's hoping & praying that no one else's loved one will ever need one of these quilts. This is in my email signature "Proud Parent of an American Airman". And I am. Very!!!
