2 Quilts Finished
2 Attachment(s)
So far this year I have completed 2 quilts
Very interesting RedWhite&Blue rendition - and your second quilt looks like a nice twist on a traditional pattern because you used such happy colors :)
Nice job! |
Looking good! Especially like the second one as I am partial to the florals.
Really like the red, white and blue. How did you decide when to change colors to get that effect? Great job on both quilts. Isn't it great to have them done!!!!
Very pretty quilts. I am working on my 3rd for the year and finished up one from end of last year.
WOW! i love them both but have to say-the red, white & blue one is my favorite :) the pinwheel is fabulous too- but the first one- that is simply awe inspiring! great job- i'd say your year is off to a wonderful start! :)
They are both great - for different reasons. The first one is really stunning. How did you handle the color/fabric changes? Was there a "rule" you used or did you just go with the flow, so to speak. The second one is pretty - and I loved the pinwheel with it's pretty florals. :) Great job on both!!!
both are interesting color combos!
Congratulations on getting 2 quilts done! The colours are great and my favorite is the star quilt.
I like them both, and that second one just DANCES!! :D

I love the last one. Such bright and vibrant colors.
Very nice quilts.
Nice work. That's 2 more than I have finished.
Very nice job. Love the second one.
Both are wonderful
love the second one. I also like florals.
Both your quilts are beautiful! Congratulations on finishing two already! I am thinking my next quilt will be a strip quilt. I love the way you arranged the red, white, and blue. Your arrangement creates even more interest than the red, white & blue together. Thanks for sharing these.
Thanks for sharing your beautiful quilts. The first is very original and just stands out. I like the florals in the second one.
Very interesting! The second one is busy and I love it.
Beautiful work. I think the first one is done with 2.5 x44 "jelly roll"strips and then sewed in one continuous strip and then you cut to the width you want the quilt or wall hanging and start sewing the strips together. Our guild had a sewing day and made these. I can't remember the name of the pattern. I was out of town when they had the sewing day, but got to see the beautiful quilts when done

[QUOTE=Painiacs;5065389]I sew totally agree!!! Did u come up with those design? If so you are talented! You got great color combos!......../QUOTE]
couldn't say it any better |
I just finished a jelly roll race quilt like your first photo. What a fun quilt and so fast! I used woodsy/nature type fabrics as it's for my grandson. Love your r/w/b color combo. That would be a great quilt of valor. Think I'll do that with my QOV leftovers.
I am just fascinatedby the first one. I keep going back for another look. Great quilt!
Very nice! I especially like the pinwheel.
Both quilts are just lovely. I'm a huge red, white and blue fan.
Congratulations! Jobs well done!
Nice job. Great quilts
I vote along with the others. I like them both, but since I am recently into "stripping" I REALLY like the RW&B one. I have just been using strips of various fabrics of various lengths on mine, but I like the theme of 3 fabrics. The strips really make their own design. Great work. Thank you for the inspirations.
Great job! Love the colors and design.
The first one looks like a "race" quilt, is it? Those are fast and fun to do!
