Wow, great quilts. I especially love the first one with the fussy cut birds. The artist did a wonderful job fussy cutting and placing all those birds.

Those are great--thanks for posting them. Those quilters really know how to use fabric to their advantage. The floral water color type is gorgeous and mostly due to her/his fabric placement. Wow.

The first one, doesn't that belong to one of our board members? Pretty sure I recall seeing that quilt posted here. Very pretty.
I liked the pink dresden fan as well. |

Did you know that you can post the additional pics in posts within the same thread? That way it'd keep them all together. |
Oh my gosh, that first one is fantastic! Thanks for sharing these with us.

wow like the fussy cut birds and then the victorianish quilt.
thank you for sharing all the quilts... really did lift my spirits today. |
Thank you. That first quilt is mine. I am so stunned and so complimented that you posted it. People were very kind about it. I was a docent and got to spend some time in the same aisle as it was in.

I've seen a lot of Stack & Whack, OBW and 4Pposies but that has to be the prettiest I've ever seen! Who would have believed the bird fabric combined with a dark green fabric could be so stunning. Thanks for sharing your pictures!

Amazing job on the first one although they are all beautiful #1 is my fav

The fan quilt is a gift for the quilt top maker's daughter when she gets married. I think she said two years from now. Also the maker does not work normally in pale colors. She uses brights.
The floral patchwork quilt is from a class where they exchanged strips so that they would have a variety of floral fabrics. One of the judges, though she works internationally, gave the class that this quilt was made in. By working at the show as a docent I learned a lot about the individual quilts and met a couple of the makers. A gracious and humble thank you to all those who have made comments on the bird quilt which is mine, the hardest thing I have ever made |
Wow!
