2011 Thimbleberries Border Blast
1 Attachment(s)
This a BOM that I made from last year by Thimblesberries.. It was not one of my favorites to make, but I do love the way it turned out. Very pricey to do this BOM...don't think I will do it again. I will be making a couple of pillow shaws out of the same fabric. I will be putting this on my bed.
It is really larger...extra large queen. |
Very pretty! You do such nice work!
Beautiful Quilt!!
That is so very pretty. I love it. An awful lot of work!
Just beautiful, great job and thank you for sharing. Have a Blessed night Ellen
It's beautiful!
BOM's can be very expensive, but yours came out really beautiful.
Very pretty--like the colors!!
Beautiful!

There are a few BOMs that have piqued my interest but I haven't done any yet. Usually they are smaller than I need or something other reason I decide against them. . . Mostly the cost. I seem to go off on my own tangent and can't seem to follow a pattern all the way through is a fault of mine. It is a very lovely quilt that looks a little involved. It turned out great so enjoy and who knows where the quilting fever will take you next. Thanks so much for sharing your beautiful quilt.

That is lovely. I have the blocks made for this one and will eventually get it together. You did a great job!
Now that is one gorgeous quilt, well done.
very nice...you did great!
Your BOM quilt looks great! I have done several BOM and you do need to watch out for the $ of the finishing kits. I usually do the blocks and then finish them myself without buying the $$$$$ finishing kit. Does your shop offer them separately? If not, go for BOM of smaller sizes lap/crib/twin etc. and add to them on your own.
What an array of interesting blocks! I like it very much.
Your quilt is beautiful, I love your colors, I really love the two borders.

I like the BOM that are only $3.00 or $5.00... those I don't mind participating in and have a few. |
That is pretty. Never can afford to do BOM.
Oh that is gorgeous
Great quilt. Looks so soft with the background fabric.
Great job!
I've never done a BOM because I've heard how expensive they can be. Yours is very pretty and one to be proud of. I love your color choices and the patterns. Thanks for sharing.

Love the colors. Thimbleberries BOM's are pricey for sure. A beautiful quilt and you did a fantastic job.
Beautiful!!!!!
That is lovely--worth the work. But I understand the "one is enough" idea.
Very pretty! You deserve to splurge now...and again!!! :)
Wow! That's a beautiful quilt!
Your "Southern Skies" turned out beautiful!!! You are really a motivator -- I got real discouraged when someone told me block one had 80-some pieces (I do have them cut out). I guess I need to find them all and start sewing on them as I just got a queen bed for my pink "guest" bedroom!!! Thank you for sharing. Linda
