Have you read the recent postings on the sign up thread? I understood that the centre block didn't have to be square if you didn't want it to be. You could do any size between 12 in and 24 in, square or rectangle.

I thought it had to be either 12x12, 12x24 or 24x24.... let me go back and read that!

its true for some reason people were under that impression but its wrong. you can do a rectangle.

the rules are the smallest side can not be under 12 inches and the longest side can not be more than 24 inches (finished so add a 1/2 inch for seams)
