Yes, I love this 3-D effect - but aren't you going to have a hard time quilting around the raised part? Machine quilted or hand quilted?

Beautiful quilt. Ya watch for that quilting. I have a friend who is on that kick right now with folded fabric and I hate it when I try to quilt that stuff. So now she does the fabric folding and quilt as you go. I am too much of a traditonal quilter to get into all that.

lastgrandma, is that a double wedding ring quilt under your pinwheel quilt? Did you make it? I'm working on one for a customer and I have to say it's one of the most time consuming patterns I've done. Your pinwheel quilt is very pretty.

I made my first 3D Pinwheel blocks last night. They went together easily. I only had enough fabric to make 8 blocks so I think I am going to use them in two totes. I am definitely going to make a quilt with them soon. I like your colors, the quilt is going to be beautiful.
