While reading some of the other members blogs I found two other pictures of the puzzle pieces...and as luck would have it they fit up next to mine...here is a picture of three of them ..... now 9 more to go...lol so far so good...

I have no idea what puzzle you are talking about, but this looks interesting so hopefully someone will post a link to the previous threads on this.

I'm sorry...12 of us from another group are participating in a project. A picture of a pond was cut into 12 equal sections. We were to finish our piece and send back...when all the pieces arrive they will be assembled into a wall quilt. I found two other squares while reading through their blogs...we each can choose our own fabrics and techniques...none of us has seen the entire picture...we only know it is of a pond...

I've envisioned our bee doing one as our next Round Robin project. Each member would pick a picture and cut it up into X pieces. And each month you'd have do a section of another member's picture. The last round would be putting the pieces together so at the very end, each person gets a totally finished wallhanging. Oh, and we'd do it QAYG, so each section would be quilted. Anyway, that's the plan. Yours looks like it's going to be fabulous success!! |
oh that is going to be so very pretty!!!
|
Amazing how well they match up..... I had not heard of this... looking good!!!!
|
WOW that is a great idea. It will look beautiful when it's done.

That looks like it is going to be awesome when completed. Hope you find the other pieces. Be sure you post the completed quilt.

Thanks for sharing. I love to look at all the pictures to see what other Qb'ers are up to. Especially with the holidays coming around the corners. What a fun idea and sharing with other ladies. Have fun finishing it. Pictures to continue???

Fabulous, isn't it amazing how you have all chosen very similar colours, yet the subtle differences MAKE it so much more interesting, please post more pictures as it builds up!

I found more pieces on facebook and blog pages...here's what it looks like so far!
|
really cool.
|
I am fascinated by this project! It is going to be amazing when it's finished!
Who gets the job of putting it all together and quilting it ? Thanks for searching for more blocks, keep it up! :D :D :D  |
This is a new one on me. It's hard to believe these weren't coordinated, the colors are so close. Can't wait to see it finished, it's gorgeous!
|
Really interesting! It looks like it is going to be lovely! How big are the squares? Are you just putting the pictures together....or did you get back the blocks to sew together?
|
I just found pictures and put them together in photoshop...each square is 10x10 finished. We made them 11x11 so the lady would have some room to shift them around. I am not the one who gets the quilt...I am but one volunteer who submitted a piece...lol...I really wouldn't want the job of assembly...
