What a fun idea! Do you have some instructions as far as number of strips needed, dimensions of finished projects, etc? My sewing group may want to do this too!
|
The first strip was 4 wof strips with a square in between each one. I think we staggered the second one and then from there sewed to the length of the first strip and cut off to start the next row. There really was a lot of sewing as ALL the strips were attached together first.
Have fun. LOL |
Great idea!

Great idea! Wish we could send hugs with donation quilts...sometimes that is what is needed most. Quilts are definitely a wonderful substitute!

So much fun and for a worthy cause

Imade a quilt like the first one and made major mistake. Instead of adding each line by sewing it in opposite end of the first one it came out way off. There was no way to square it up so after weeks of setting it aside I decided to cut in about 12 inch lengths, therefore squaring it up. I added stashing between each row. Finally got a decent quilt though much smaller. Won't make that mistake again, nor will I make this style quilt again. Yours is lovely.
