I love the color and design of that green border with the applique vine. Nicely unique.

beautiful! I also love 30s fabrics. I have my stash, even have an idea in mind...but have yet to make it.

I love the 30s fabric, and I love it is for you. I think you did a wonderful job. Most of us make quilts for others,
and never get around to making one for ourselves. I started a double wedding ring quilt around 25 years ago,
and never finished it, so it is in the bottom of the hall closet waiting for me to pull it out again. I had a lot of
difficulty with the football pieces laying flat, so I ripped out too many times, got frustrated and put it away. I
also have bought 2 other sewing machines since I started that quilt, and I have always heard to use the same
machine you start with on any project. Sooooo it probably will not work now either.

You should pull that top out and finish it! If someone finds it one day who knows where it will end up! Or send it to me. :D I'm the finisher in the family. Lol
