I love the 30s fabric, and I love it is for you. I think you did a wonderful job. Most of us make quilts for others,
and never get around to making one for ourselves. I started a double wedding ring quilt around 25 years ago, and never finished it, so it is in the bottom of the hall closet waiting for me to pull it out again. I had a lot of difficulty with the football pieces laying flat, so I ripped out too many times, got frustrated and put it away. I also have bought 2 other sewing machines since I started that quilt, and I have always heard to use the same machine you start with on any project. Sooooo it probably will not work now either. |
