Wonderful. Nice color combo.

Those are so pretty. When I was in high school--many, many, many years ago, pink and black were very popular. As a matter of fact, I think they were our class colors. That is going to be a very pretty quilt!!!

it is english paper piecing- so the small pieces are not that difficult- since you have a (template). the smallest piece in these is that last block-with 3/4" pieces for the center star & first round around it. a few years ago i made a quilt for my mom that actually had 1/4" hexagons made into flowers...now those were small! they turned out soooo cute---but oh my what a pain! :) the most difficult part was removing the papers.
and as for the (number question)
there are over 100 blocks --so far--- i have somewhere in the 50's finished- so i have a ways to go---

I love english paperpeicing, as it's something I can tote with me in a small container in my purse to dr or dentist appts and kill a little time while I wait!! Yours are beautiful and I love the colors. I usually not much of a pink person but done this way they are wonderful!!!!!!

The blocks are beautiful. Now I want to try some. Are you using a book? Would you post the pattern so I could try to find it? I love the colors.

the patterns are not in a book (yet- who knows the designer may one day put them in one)
they are from " The Quilt Pattern Magazine" which is an on-line quilting magazine you can subscribe to- designed by cindy- who has designed over 100 of them- in Beginner/Intermediate & advanced blocks- it was a group activity some of us chose to participate in last year- i fell a bit behind in October 2012- when other obligations took precidence- so i am just getting back to my blocks- there are more than 100- i am in the 50's finished- i chose to do all of mine in pink, black & whites- some did scrappy's- everyone made their own choices- i've been sharing my blocks here on the board since we started last June (2012) - you can visit/subscribe to 'the quilt pattern magazine --TQPM---on their website.
