This will be magnificent when finished, and if you put it in a picture frame or fabric that looks like wood it will be a cherished addition to your home.

shequilts 10-18-2010 06:57 PM

It's already pretty. I can't wait to see it finished!

Ramona Byrd 10-18-2010 06:58 PM

I forgot to mention that I love it because my DH and I spent our honeymoon back packing in lovely Yosemite Valley's Mt. Starr King, 43 years ago.

Nope the mountain fabric was cut out for mountain shapes. and the trees and river was a fabric I picked up a couple of years ago.. added sky and there you go I am going to start another today and do a few them embellish them all together. I'd like to do a winter scene to have something for christmas..

I am awed by what you have done!!!! It's breathtaking.

Am going to go out and look for fabric today.

You said that you used 4 different fabrics - are the trees the fourth fabric or were they part of the fisherman scene?

You make it look so beautiful and sound so easy to do. I took a fabric painting class at our guild meeting awhile back...still haven't finished the 6" by 6" piece but do have one tree done. LOL
