I made this for July 4th design challenge using red/white stripe, red, and blue/white stars. Rules 36 inches or less and incorporating other fabrics with the challenge fabric. Like me, it's not perfect, but this is a fairly new shop and I try to participate in as much as possible, because I really like owners and having them in business.
Hope you enjoy looking

That is great, you did a really good job, I like what you did, even though I am Canadian.

This isn't a pattern that I knew of, I just kinda winged it. What is the name of your pattern, I would love to see it. Glad everyone likes it.
Thanks,
Jan

Great job Jan! I think that will look super hanging out for the 4th. When do you get the winning results from the Challenge? It sounds like it was fun. Hope the LQS got lots of participants!

I think it's announced on the 20th, but it's like me not perfect, so I don't expect to win. Thanks

Beautiful quilt! I'm just up the road (I-5) from you. I'm in Red Bluff. If you are ever coming thru please pm me and perhaps we can get together for some iced tea. I have met 3 fellow quilting board members so far. Would love to meet you also.

Jan, you're already a winner in my book. If you're not going to hang it on your front porch for the Fourth, one thing that would be nice would be to give it to someone who has served in one of the wars.

Jim's Gem 06-22-2009 07:38 PM
