Thank you for all your kind comments. Thanks to my DH watching the pups I have been able to finish it in time. We got two Golden Retriever pups a month ago and it has been hard to pull myself away from these cute faces to quilt.

Just finished the top for Mom's 90th birthday in October. Found the twin kit on sale on Connecting Threads website and added two neutrals and two darks to enlarge it to fit her hospital bed as a bedspread (what she currently has on her bed) in her assisted living apt. It now measures 82" x 104". I will undoubtedly have to piece my backing which matches the outer border, but have several blocks & yardage left. I hope she likes it.............one never knows on any given day LOL
