Also Crafty Bear had a great suggestion !! She suggested that you could cover them!!

Well who would have thought of that, I have two or thre of these that I use for my pencils for school, ( retired teacher now doing tutorials at Elm. school) I will just have to use them for the same thing. Thanks for the idea.

I bought one of these at Staples! Never thought to use it for my rotary cutter. I use mine for crochet hooks. Look like I'll have to go back for a couple more!!! Thanks!

I think they would make great Xmas gifts ,just add a rotory cutter and wrap it up..I sure would be a happy camper with one.I will have to go back and get some more. They are on sale at the Office Depot, but I am sure they might have them elsewhere.

finch 08-10-2010 09:54 AM

I really wasn't sure that it would fit in the case,so that is why I just bought one.Now that I know,I sure am getting more.So many colors to choose from too!!

Sell/buy that in a quilt shop
and it'll run ya $10.99!

CherokeeGal 08-10-2010 10:44 AM

The "Dollar Tree" Store carries these, too!

finch 08-10-2010 10:48 AM

Thank you for that information.I may just go there instead of going to the Office Depot...Thanks a bunch

You can probably find them at WalMart as well. That's where I bought my first one for pencils I think.

cool

What a great idea. Works so well and the price is right.

magpiefeather 08-10-2010 06:06 PM

What kind of rotary cutter is that?! does it close when you let go of the handle?

shortstuff 08-10-2010 06:45 PM

Idid the same with mine also can put scissors in them too. Points won't poke thru your bag.

SharonAnne 08-10-2010 06:48 PM

All excellent ideas. Thank you. Like the idea of Christmas gift w/ cutter and maybe even an extra blade or two might fit?

Dee 08-10-2010 07:33 PM

I have three of them. What a great idea.

Pineapple Princess 08-10-2010 08:03 PM

Great idea!

finch 08-11-2010 03:32 AM

It is an Olfa rotory cutter and it does close by itself when you release the handle.

n2scraplvr 08-11-2010 09:37 PM

Great idea! Love your cutter and case! :D :D ;)
