Saw this pattern about two years ago and had to try it. Bought a 30's charm pack and tried to add other fabrics similar to the 30's. Not sure if the name is correct for the pattern...if not, please correct me!

I know that block as "granny square" or "postage stamp." Also used in pioneer days -- made with white in center for signatures, for friends to sign when a group of girls made a quilt for a friend who was leaving their circle for one reason or another. Oh, and I like your color choices!

Love it!!! I have a granny square started but with working two jobs have not had any time to sew and it's been tough.

Love it! It reminds me of designs my mom and grandma used to make .But if course, that was back when you cut out all the little pieces and then sewed them together!

A quilt's name is what YOU call it, which is why quilt block names are so confusing. Whatever it's called, yours is a lovely one.
