Not a fatal mistake, it is one that can be corrected if you want without too much difficulty. Or you can say it is to show which side is up!!!

I can't see the 'sleeping' triangle. Is it just too early for me to focus? Would you be willing to take a closeup of the area that has your attention so I can learn from it? I can't spot it. I think you did a good job./Regards, Dorothy

Leave it! You have to hunt to find it. No one will hunt if you don't say anything. It blends in. I'd only change it if you postively think it will drive you nuts everytime you look at it.

I see it, but obviously since other people thought it was something else, it is not "fatal".

When I took my quilting class, a woman had brought in a couple of vintage quilts. I don't know the name of the quilt pattern, but it had the baskets on it. It was in red and white. One of the baskets was turned in a different direction.

The instructor, was impressed because she called it a "humble" square. Apparently, a lot of quilters made a deliberate mistake in their quilts as they believed only God is perfect.

It is just your "humble" row!

Great job! Love both the pattern and the colors!

the borders don't match, but so what. Think of it as your Amish quilt.

NO mistakes in quilting, just "design opportunities". I think it looks great. I had to look for it. It just depends if you can live with it or not. It really is a striking quilt. :-)

I don't think there's anything wrong with it. If I'd made it I'd be really proud of myself.
