Do you now feel better? And did the quilt stop screaming?

UglyCook 06-21-2010 06:37 PM

The quilt and I are now resting quietly. I just need to find 1/4 yard more to make the binding. Oh, I suppose it needs a back too?

If this quilt is for yourself your will always see the mistake. If it is a gift for someone else they will never see it or care if they do. I am a perfectionist on my projects, I know where every error is. My friends and family can't see them, sometimes even after I point the mistake out. As I've laid a dozen hardwood floors and several more tile floors I have made lots of errors! LOL!

Every one makes mistakes-just live with it- if anyone complains about it tell them "you are welcome to fix it-but you have to be neat about it" I would bet you won't have any takers. Just live and learn.

I had to look to find what you are talking about. I think it's fine the way it is. If you can't stand it just rip it out and redo. I think it's fine.

I had to look closely to find it.... no one will see it unless you tell them to look for it. You could fix it...become good friends with your ripper. I don't think I would bother. It could be a puzzler quilt or, "I did it to see if you really looked at it." Don't worry over it too much. It is pretty as it is.
