Advent arrowheads
1 Attachment(s)
This pattern is Arrowhead by Anita Grossman Soloman, it was published in Quiltmaker Magazine last year and I believe it is still offered on their website. I named mine Advent Arrowheads because there are 25 blocks. Anita's techique for making these blocks is very innovative and lots of fun. I pieced this last year at my mom's house when I stayed with her after she'd had surgery. She was fascinated with the technique too, and many of the fabrics came from her stash. Merry Christmas to all

Very gorgeous. Thanks for posting and a Merry Christmas to you too.

It's so pretty. I have the corner turned down on that technique too. I made one block into a tabletopper because it looked so cool. It turned out so exact and it's fun too. Yours is great in the Christmas prints!

Our Prayers and Squares group is doing it at a workshop, and our Wounded Warriors does it regularly. It is such a fun technique. I love the fabrics you chose, too.

Is it possible that this pattern is also known under another name? I'd like to find it and try it.
thanks, Mary |
Can you please send me a pm. I can't find the location on this website if you answer my question. I am interested to know if this pattern is known under any other name. So many patterns have more then one name. Thanks, Mary -- [email protected].

Very nice! I bought the book and am collecting fabrics. I like your sashings and cornerstones. I don't think her pattern had the blocks separated like that.
