I made the centre leave shapes fatter on my block - they looked skimpy on the original to me. It's also easier to tuck under your seam allowance with that bit of extra room.

Gorgeous, Lesley. I agree. I made this one pursuant to the pattern and after you mentioned enlarging the center pieces, I took it apart and redid those. Now I like it much, much better.

Aw, Judy, that's a lot of extra work to redo them, but if you like it better, then it was worth it. Hopefully with us both doing fatter leaves in the middle, it will save someone from doing the original and not liking it.
