I love the cornerstone idea using the animals. I lived in South Africa and got to Kruger Park lots of times so this reminded me of staring at the veldt and trying to see the animals lying in the grass. My hubby could always find them but I couldn't. Glad you pointed them out! LOL

All of these quilts are beauties - I love African type prints and have been collecting fabrics for quite awhile- you are an inspiration - my favorite is a tug if war between 1 and 3 -

Looks like the squares are all the same pattern but the fabrics make them all so different - love the animals in the corners and think the quilting looks like the eye of an exotic bird - so appropriate and clever.
