I did quilt this one myself. It is hard to see but it has apples (some have bites in them ) on the border.

Ijust bought this pattern...I'm not sure my talent is up to the task! LOL Your's is absolutely stunning. Where did you get the fabric may I ask, or did you buy the kit? So few actually pretty horse patterns out there. I had a buckskin just like the one in this quilt/wall hanging when I was a girl!

KathyAire 12-04-2010 03:24 PM

I love it. I want that one...............

sylvia77 12-04-2010 04:17 PM

Was this hard to do? I was going to get the pattern but not sure what they mean by picture piecing.

twospoiledhuskies 12-04-2010 09:05 PM

Hi, No it's not hard. This is raw edge applique. It's sort of like paint by number. You could do it I'm sure

twospoiledhuskies 12-04-2010 09:10 PM

I do alot of raw edge applique and have lots of batiks. The majority of the fabric came from my stash. That said, I think I bought most of the fabric when I lived in California.... so I've had it a while. I know if you try to get a kit - it will have different fabric. I love this - glad you did to :D

Mariposa 12-04-2010 09:31 PM

Gorgeous! I need to make one of those for myself too!

Oh I love that quilt. I've seen that at a quilt show where they had kitted the designs. I was so tempted. Its beautiful.

Sunflower Girl 12-05-2010 05:53 AM

Stunning!!! Is this technique by England Designs? I bought a kit (much simpler) and a book at the Houston Quilt Show but haven't been brave enought to try it yet.

JAGSD 12-05-2010 05:57 AM
