Alexis and Cassidy's Quilt
 

I finished a baby quilt for an awesome coworker not too long ago. She didn't know what she was having when I got started, so I opted to start working with neutral scraps and the theme of 'bugs'. Good thing I played it safe and went slightly more masculine, because it turned out that she was having a boy! He should be here sometime in mid-September.

The backing is fleece, so a label would have been a pain. I opted to just write in a little label in the corner. I knew she wouldn't mind. Due to a shortage of large bags, I opted to whip up a pillowcase the morning of the baby shower to haul the quilt! Alexis mentioned that she loved balloons and I only had one or two balloon scraps incorporated into the actual quilt.
