My local quilt shop had this idea to make "Me" Maine and I thought it was a great idea. So I dug through my stash for those novelty prints I had been saving. This was a fun quilt and could be done in many different themes.

What a nice quilt!! Being from Maine, I appreciate the fabrics you chose. Made me think of the Cabbage Island cruise with the lobster dinner followed by the yummy homemade blueberry cake. Makes for a beautiful day!

I love it. I am from Maine and sure do miss those" lobsta's "and clams. Not the same in Florida. I wish I could find some of those fabric, maybe I would get brave and try something like that.

I believe the pattern name really is All About Me (not just for Maine/ME). It is an Atkinson design pattern. I looked through my ring binder of patterns just this morning and I saw it in there. I have seen it done to represent the quilt maker's hobbies etc at quilt shows. A very versatile pattern for all those fabrics that you just "have to have because they are YOU".
