now that sewing on the machine is no longer safe ( Parkinson's -isms) .. I ahve found an old hand pattern for Cathedral Window Quilt pattern.

Still adding on but a fun way to use scraps from old projects.

So beautiful! I'm glad you can continue to quilt and hope you will be able to do so for a long time to come! Your "windows" are quite small! 12 in a six-inch block??

Absolutely Lovely..... IMHO the Cathedral Window looks best when hand stitched. A lot of work but well worth it in the end....

Beautiful, I can't even imagine doing that pattern the normal size, much less that small!!! Great job!!!

Chairjogger, it's beautiful already!! I just love the fabrics you chose! I have that pattern and started out many yrs ago doing it also by hand. You're doing great and NOTHING stops the quilting!! :D :D ;) :thumbup:

yes very small. finished folded square is 2 inches. three rows across, three rows up and down makes 9 folded squares.. small but manageable to hold while curling the edges to get the "window" effect.

Have done this once on a bigger scale and never did anything with it.. So, this time my goal is 18" x 16" finish wall hanging.. close to that idea.

surprising to be easy, portable, take it anywhere to work the pieces. excited to find a pattern that gives results too.
