Alphabet quilt

Here is an alphabet quilt I made for DGD Jenna back in 2008 when she was four. Used my Babylock embroidery machine, which sadly to say has since bit the dust. I sure miss it. This was my first attempt at attic windows and they are upside down.

not upside down... just the view from the small child's perspective

It looks great to me. I bet she has learned her abc's from this quilt.

Very nice - I bet she loves her quilt.

That is SO cute and a great idea for an alphabet quilt!

I love Attic Windows and your look great. Always fun to have a different perspective.

QuiltnNan said what I first thought - that's exactly what it would look like from a child's viewpoint.

They look like rafters to me in that position. So I would call it the rafter pattern. The embroidery is beautiful.
|
I thought it was the view of attic windows, from outside, standing on the ground, looking up.
