Alternative to Big Board-by Harriet

You never know your friends hidden talents until you express your wants! I had a Big Board ironing board but it was so heavy and I needed my ironing board up underneath. So, I ended up not using it. Talking to my friend, I expressed how I would love to have a smaller board the length of my cutting table. Next thing I know she is at my door with a piece of cut wood and a staple gun. In fifteen minutes I had a new board. An hour later, another friend came and picked up her new ( to her) Big Board!
When I'm not using it, it leans against the wall, and even fits behind the door! |
and it looks pretty standing there!

Very pretty and you could pin things to it when it is standing up too.
|
Whoa.....that is totally awesome:)

What a great friend !! You wished .. and it appeared! I may have to borrow your idea.

I am looking at the quilt on the wall. Wow, Awesome. The ironing board is great. What a good friend.
|
What is the design name of the quilt in your photos? TIA
|
Very pretty. I love my ironing boards but nothing pretty as yours. Just plain canvas
or twill. I have a collection from 24" square to 30" x 8ft. The latest and biggest is for glue basting. |
Great friend, love your new board.
