Angel Table Runner

This pattern was a free download. It includes directions for a matching stocking.
I'm not unhappy with the outcome, but next time I'll spend more time lining up the 'hems' of the angel's skirts! |
Love it! Where was the free download from?

Nicely done. Thank you for sharing.

It is wonderful. I love that green white and red print you used on the edges. It really ties it altogether nicely.
|
It's beautiful!
Anytime I'm not happy with something I have made, if possible, I cover it with an applique. If the skirts bug you, you could always applique a gold strip of something across the skirt hems. But, I think it's beautiful the way it is. |
nicely done

very nice!!!!!

Why not go back with a metallc embroidery thread and add a fancy stitch at the hem line? Straighten that out real quick!

Thanks for the great ideas. I used the 'add lace' suggestion and this is the result.
I also completed the stocking to match. |
Very cute.

It's lovely! Thanks for the pattern site.

I love your finished products ... especially the lace added to the runner - it looks like it should have always been that way!
|
Those are really cute and love the little bit of added lace.

I think your runner is beautiful. It will look lovely on your holiday table! Also, thanks for the link, I adore the Christmas scrappy quilt and going to start gathering my fabrics now!
|
Wonderful! Will you be putting lace on the stocking too?
|
That is so cute. Thanks for the download. I will try one.
