thank you, don't know if it has a name, it's a strip quilt, got the pattern off the net (free) I saw the one billswife99 did last year and just loved the way the blocks floated and decided that DD would like the pattern, she picked out the fabric (civil war)

How funny it is that people think of brown as ugly. I know my hubby has a negative association with the color, because when he was a teen, his parents made him get a brown suit instead of the blue one that he wanted... To this day he steers clear of brown t-shirts, pants in general.

Your quilt is beautiful! I personally love natural tones of brown and greens.. and of course, pretty much all the blues too! :) Great Job!

There is NOTHING UGLY about that quilt! It is BEAUTIFUL!
